Basildon Frames was funded by Screen South with support from Basildon Council and co led by Animating Education and Waverley Studios.
 
We designed and produced three Saturday school clubs for 12–16 year olds in the Basildon area, open to all experience levels. With marketing support from Basildon Council, we promoted the programme across local senior schools and quickly filled all 15–20 places for each session.

In addition to producing the workshops, we were also responsible for delivering a public projection in partnership with South Essex College’s Basildon campus. After much experimentation, we successfully filled one of their large classroom bay windows with the participants’ animations, showcasing the work for four consecutive days and nights.
